No Pain, No Pleasure
Those who sow in tears
Shall reap in joy
He who continually goes forth weeping
Bearing seed for sowing
Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing
Psa. 126:5-6
Pains always precede pleasure. When a woman is pregnant, her pains begins. That goes on to the point of labour which is the height of her pains. When it is time to deliver her baby, she goes deep into the valley of death. She becomes dead at the actual point of delivery. Then she comes back to life again. Then both the mother and the baby become objects of celebrations. That is how it is. For us to have food to eat in another year, we must, painfully, part with parts of our harvests this year. The bits we parted with must die before they can reproduce for us better and bountiful harvests. Therefore to expect any gain without pain is folly. Be ready today to sacrifice something to get something better. Remain blessed.

Not Letting Go, our Past
Not Letting Go our Past
The constant review of our past history serves the useful purpose of enabling us identify what we ought to have done better. It is useful in two ways: for us to guide ourselves as we execute present ideas and help us avoid the avoidable pitfalls for the future. Secondly, it serves as a good tool for counsel for those who might be seeking our advice on such matters. Because we have failed, in it and knew why we failed, it becomes easy to guide ourselves and others needing our help on the matter.
However, the issue with us i we never use past regrets for these positive purposes, rather we use it to destroy our future and also to misguide other people. Let’s take an example. A girl who get impregnated and dropped out of school did not have a major issue in her hands. She still have two opportunities to make her way in life the better of which is to return to school after delivery or learn a trade she has passion for and take apply her life to it. Also she ought to become a role model to let young girls know that having such an experience is not the end of their lives but that they can make amends and still get fulfilled anyway.
However if she refuses to take to either of the two alternatives open to her and begins to blame others or even her irresponsible boyfriend over the incident or worse still decides to go for superstitious believes and goes spiritual thereby trying to know who in her family ‘pushed’ her into such mistake, she has missed the point. She will be on this while shortly, poverty will strike her down like a plague. Like our pregnant girl, a student who fails an examination and gives up has handed him or herself to poverty. But the one who fails and continues to rewrite the examinations until he eventually passes is the wise one.
Many of us are like those two students who experienced disappointments but instead of finding ways around them, sat down, lamenting them! If you are in such position, nobody will help you unless you help yourself. God has done his own bit by letting you know either by yourself or through other people’s advice that you still have escape routes. If you fail to do take to the escape routes, it’s your own matter. Do something about your own life YOURSELF today.

Your Life Is In Your Hands
My life is continuously in my hand,
Yet I do not forget Your Law
Ps. 119:109
My Life is in My Hands
We have control over our lives all the time, especially, in areas of the quest for knowledge – education, career, marriage (including parenting), how we intend to retire, and the kind of history or legacies we wish to bequeath to generations after us. What we become is a matter of the choices we make those circumstances. Choice making, is the greatest freedom God has bestowed on us – to shape our lives the way we wish. But we must remember that we are accountable to Him on how we do it. Following His Law is what will make us to attain our destinies according to His purpose and without hurting themselves.

What's Life for me?
That's the answer everyone of us is searching for throughout our daily struggles!
When a child is born, he or she cannot comprehend the essence of life. Merely looking at his parents, he feels secured. He is unconditional supplied of food, clothing, shelter, and as he grows he is introduced to education. All is fun to him until he suddenly realises that the school he has been sent to is not a child's play. He begins to receive pressure from his parents to take his studies seriously. He begins to be told that his future lies in his hands. He is told that not too long, he will graduate from a life of independence to a dependent life.
Suddenly he notices himself struggling like others in his school to pass his examinations. not because it was fun but because he has been told that without passing well his future is bleak. Then the struggle begins! Suddenly he finishes his Secondary and tertiary education and his parents now shows him the way into the larger space called 'the world' to go and begin to fend for himself. He's reminded also to remember them and his siblings and indeed, other persons in terms of care - to give back!
It then dawns on him that the dependency syndrome is fast giving way to independence and the otherwise cheerful boy begins to look serious, moody and unstable in his thoughts. He begins to ask himself, "what does the future holds for me?" which is now what propels all his searches for life's opportunities which in themselves are becoming harder and harder to find.
He chooses a career, pursues it rigorously, get married and begins to rear his own children. Finally he becomes a parent himself. Even though he might have built a house over his head, paying his children's school fees, bought himself a car or two, yet he still keeps on asking himself: "What's in life for me?". This is because no matter how much he has achieved, one thing is constant in his mind: THERE'S UNCERTAINTY about everything in life. He was still contemplating the safety in investing in shares when suddenly he saw everything crashed far below the capital invested in them! One thing therefore is clearer to him: that all his achievements can be wiped out in a second! For this reason, fear grips him and this fear in turn propels him to become restless to the point that he might develop raised blood pressure. This anxiety lives with him all the days of his life!
The wise one runs to God hinging all the hopes of his future in His hands. Dear reader, this is the best decision anybody can take - knowing God. It is in God that life has meaning otherwise it is useless and a just a bundle of frustrations. It is in God there's certainty of an assured future. Life is full of unhappiness. No amount of struggles can give man the achievements that can guarantee his joy. Only God can do that. Therefore struggle but never make the mistake of forgetting to cling to God. He loves* you and the fear of your tomorrow is unreal if you truly know Him. Good morning.

Positive and Negative Fame
The Two Sides of Life
Like the positive and negative sides
of mathematical calculations
There are two sides to Life
The positive and the negative
There is no end to exploring both sides
And indeed either side,
Can lead to pain, fame and prosperity
But the only fame, wealth, and prosperity
That carries no sorrow with it
Is the one earned
From the positive side – the side of God.

Securing Your Future
Secure Your Future
For an organization
to survive competition,
It may sometimes result
In its pruning down
All areas of wastage
And reposition itself
For the challenges ahead
The painful thing
about such re-structuring
Is that human capital
is victimised!
And when this occurs
There are tensions
And serious industrial relations issues
There is agitation
Which even generates litigation
By those affected
And all these
Tend to produce negative results
For both the employees
And concerned concerned.
But employee and employer
Can reduce the gravity of the pains
By planning well ahead of time
Employers sacking staff
Should pay good severance package
While employees affected
Ought before then
To have made himself
An employer of labour
Either by engaging
In part-time business ventures
Like by investing in shares
Therefore every employee must,
From time to time
Critically review his or her life
Physically, spiritually and emotionally
To enable him survive
any negative development
Where the answer points to possible failure
We must take painful decisions
To put our lives on the right track
We must upgrade our values
from time to time
To bring about a secured future
For us here on earth
And sufficient even for heaven.

My passion for children ...And Teenagers
Passion For Children
And Teenagers
Childhood and Teenage years
Are two most critical stages
In a person’s life
These are the periods
When parents, the schools
And the total environment
Mould (or mar) the children
Such vulnerability
elicited my passion for them
Enhanced with enabling contributions
To shape their focus
Or direction in life
So that they may live purposeful
And vision-driven lives
That will ensure
That their today
Would be better
Than our today
And their tomorrow
Brighter than our tomorrow

Don't be caught by the snare called "Conflict of Interest"!
Conflict of Interest
No organisation wants disloyal
and corrupt employees
So it ab initio makes employees
To sign a conflict of interest document
Unfortunately majority of employees
Invariably misinterpret such document
To limit or eliminate investment
In their own future
Or prohibit them
From setting up their own businesses
This is a wrong notion or assumption
That will neither compete nor conflict
With their employment or employer
To be sure to avoid such situation
Employees should skip businesses
That deal directly or indirectly
With their employers
Either as Suppliers or Contractors.

Everybody Owes Money, But you Must
Discover or
Invent Something
Yes, Bill Gates,
With his computers
Has captured the globe
The Wright brothers
Put the airplane in the air
The ships sail majestically in the oceans
The automobiles cruise about
On the highways
The calculators,
The palmtops,
The handhelds
And all the gadgets
Have synchronized together
Our private and official lives
To the little-minded therefore
All these inventions suggests
An end to further development or invention
I can assure you
There are still uncountable ideas undiscovered
And to be invented
That will make the discoverer stand out
As Bill Gates, the current champion!
Think of one, work on it,
And bring it to the market place
Whatever you come up with
Your potential customers are waiting
Ready to pay for it, any day, any time
So your greatness awaits you
Just try your hand at it.
Everybody, including the writer
Owes you some money
So, you, everybody
Some money
So your wealth is in my hands
While mine is in yours
But the immutable law says:
Unless I give you something of value
And you do same to me,
We will not exchange the monies
between us!
This supports the Biblical command
That when you give,
In return, you receive
Good measure, pressed down
And running over.
Even in the house of God
where salvation is inherently free
The people of God
still need to pay a price –
forgoing their old odd ways
And embrace Christ,
Showing mercy, devotion and love
And in return receiving salvation,
Forgiveness, prosperity, peace and joy
So to deny the law
Of sowing and harvesting
Is a big lie
So begin now to add value
To the lives of others
And thereby increase the value
Of your own life!

Polygamy is a Snare, if caught by it what do you do?
Polygamy
And Women
Polygamy, though permissible culturally
Is not the best thing
To happen to anybody
If, however, as a woman
You are ensnared in it,
How would you live it?
Would you follow the ancient
(And now deadly modernized) route
Of leaving the substance
And chasing the shadows?
Would you engage yourself
In such destiny busters
As quarreling with your rivals,
Setting your children against theirs,
Going for magical means
To win your husband to your side
Or worse still
Engaging yourself, praying for nothing else
But for God to help
Kill your rivals - envying?
Or would you, in humility and wisdom,
Do what Daddy Adeboye’s Mum did
When in a similar situation
In a polygamous setting?
Read what she did:
While the other women busied
Fighting their husband,
Daddy Adeboye’s Mom rather
Praised the man
For being ‘brave, kind, etc’
When her mates
Were mocking their husband
About his weaknesses,
Daddy’s mummy insisted on
Re-echoing, to his hearing, his strengths
His redoubtable exploits!
Proclaiming her husband
As the best man
God ever created!
Where the wives demonstrated
How tough they could be
To their husband,
Daddy’s Mum dealt lovingly
With her husband
Never challenging his authority!
For those reasons,
She was able to get
The best attention possible
From her husband
She was able to bring her children
close to their father
Instead of distancing them
Today, one of her own
Has ended up being a great pillar
in the world.
In humility too, he calls himself
Simply “a Pastor”
But Presidents, Governors, Ministers,
The high and mighty of society
Call him Daddy, Bishop, Prophet!
Christendom sees him righteously
A true man of God,
A man whose early aspiration
Was to become the youngest Vice Chancellor of a University
Has now been promoted by God
To establish a University!
If old Mum, Adeboye,
Had not displayed
A rare wisdom
In her polygamous home
It is possible
She would have lost this genius
To the bickering and infighting
That usually characterise
The polygamous family!
Women in polygamy,
Choose ye this day
Who your mentor would be
But I dare recommend to you
Daddy Adeboye’s Mom
And reap the benefits
Of her humility and wisdom
With which she tackled and untangled
The knotty webs of polygamy
She had stooped to conquer
Why can’t you?
