What Is Nigeria Celebrating?
If are appraising Nigeria by looking at power failure, bad roads, kidnappings, robbery attacks, and all forms of corruptions, we would be sorrowful. But instead, let's appreciate God and look beyond those vices and trust and that with time, prayers and practical efforts, they will all fade away.
So, what we are celebrating are:
1. The Unfailing LOVE of GOD that has held us together
2. Unity in diversity - that we see beyond our problems
3. The hope of a better tomorrow - that with God on our side, our oppressors will one day, which is very near, our oppressors shall be oppressed themselves. Happy celebrations!

PLANT NOW!
We are all responding to meltdown in different ways. I know everybody is scared of the stock market now. Those who had their monies trapped in Wonder Banks investments will not want to remember that for now. Bank savings or loans are not encouraging either. So there's confusion everywhere. Inside this confusion, I see great hope. If you still have some money you want to invest, though it may sound foolish, but I bet you this is the best time to invest in the stock market!
Secondly this is the best time for you to think hard on creating multiple-streams of incomes. When lack of power supply is driving bigger conglomerates out of Nigeria? Yes, NEPA is a major factor but its absence cannot successfully block our resoning faculties such that we can think alternative!
Farming is one of the best alternatives to paid employment today, especially backyard one.
Why not give it a trial? Late September to November ending is the best planting season in the Southern parts of Nigeria. Therefore find out what you intend to plant and plant now for you to be able to harvest something good in 2010. Happy Independence! Good morning.
