Have you ever experienced a serious disappointment in time of dire need for help? If not, it means you have not placed your trust in man! Man will almost always disappoint you. The reason may be intentional or otherwise it doesn’t matter. He has no control over the promises he is making to you. The only person who cannot disappoint is Your Creator. Go to Him before you approach anybody for help. Even when anybody makes a promise to you, it is not cast in stone. Pray that God grants him the enablement to fulfil it for it is only those to whom God has granted the grace to help that can do so.
