The Death of Nigeria: A Coroner's inquest

"There's no country that can survive for long if it continues to produce a succession of mediocrities in the highest echelons of power. ... the challenge of resurrecting Nigeria rests with Nigerians.  Nevertheless, the level of political conscousness of of the average Nigerian is close to zero.  Morepoint, they are armchair critic of government who hactually beleives that what the country needs most are prayers so that there would be a supernatural intervention to clear up all the anomalies that asphyxlated the country.  - Douglas Anele  Sunday Punch P. 13

Douglas's (and indeed majority of Nigerians') frustrations about the state of affairs in Nigeria are understandable. However,  to change the situation, we cannot rule out God, neither can we depend upon our physical battles alone. People are talking and with people of good conscience joining politics, things will change, sooner than later, and we shall have good the Nigeria we all desire.  It will surelyhappenen during my time!  Good morning.
