Know the Oldest Profession in the World?

There have been arguments about which professions is the oldest in the world. Lawyers argued that it is Law because God first ordered law and order should reign before beginning to create other things. Medical Doctors say they are the first because of the Surgery performed on Adam to produce Eve.Historians can even say that because we "document" everything including the history of the world itself, we are the first.

But as I read Prov. 8:22-30 this morning, I discovered (see the benefits of reading?) that Architects are the first afterall because in particular, verse 22 says: 22 “The Lord formed me from the beginning, before he created anything else." and 29-30 Wisdom says: "I was there when he set the limits of the seas,so they would not spread beyond their boundaries. And when he marked off the earth’s foundations,I was the architect at his side.I was his constant delight,
rejoicing always in his presence."

I know you enjoy these arguments and particularly my conclusion that Architects are the first to come. But is that is just by the way. What is imporant in Prov. 8 is that Wisdom is inviting us to himself so that we will not waste away our lives. Are you heeding that call? Good morning.
